Amy Smart has been a model, actress as well as a former American. Growing up and being raised in California USA she started her modeling profession in Italy. Her acting career began in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. The actress struggled for an appearance for her in Starship Troopers. Amy struggled to make the transition from modeling to acting since model actors aren't generally considered an actor of high quality. They are usually given smaller and unimportant parts. Amy did her best to get noticed and was eventually offered larger roles beginning in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. After a few years Amy stepped into bigger roles. Amy was in the love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy was recognized after more than ten years working. Then she worked on many of the greatest movies, including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
