Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. In 1996, she made her debut as an actress in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It was a long road to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller character. It was difficult for her to transition into acting since actors were never considered skilled actors and generally were offered small roles. Amy was determined to keep trying. She worked her way up into bigger roles, beginning with The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. In 2005, she took as the lead in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. It was a huge box office success and Amy had finally found the success she'd been striving for for over 10 years. She then continued to appear in some of the biggest films including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she played a recognizable character.
