Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen was born on May 6, 1964. He has appeared as Copenhagen mayoral candidate Troels Hartmann in the drama series The Killing. Charles Augustus Magnussen in the third season of Sherlock, the Russian president Viktor Petrov in the American House of Cards on Netflix as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels. He received the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011, aged of 27. In 1995, he was accepted to the National Theatre School of Denmark. Apart from his appearance in The Killing, [1] was also a part of Borgen III, a Danish drama series that was highly popular. He played the role of President of Russia in an episode of BBC drama Sherlock. He won an International Emmy Award in 2018 for his performance in the Danish television drama Herrens Veje,which was broadcast in the UK in 2019 under the name Ride Upon the Storm
